Job Title: CNC Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 3:30 AM – 1:30 PM, with potential weekend shifts
Classification: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $19.00 – $25.00
Location: Orlando, Florida

Regal Boats is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CNC Technician to operate and maintain computer numerical control machinery used to fabricate high-quality components for our boats. This role requires precision, reliability, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Load materials, cycle CNC machines, remove parts, and place finished parts on designated racks.
  2. Monitor machine operations and identify malfunctions such as tool wear or improper cutting conditions.
  3. Run production lots and communicate effectively with co-workers regarding production status or issues.
  4. Operate CNC machinery in accordance with prints, specifications, and established tolerances.
  5. Produce required quantities of parts while maintaining quality standards.
  6. Maintain accurate logs and records of production, including errors, scrap, or rejected materials.
  7. Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper alignment, setup, and functionality.
  8. Perform basic machine maintenance and routine adjustments.
  9. Assist in additional work areas as needed to support production flow.

Required Qualifications

  1. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work well in a team environment.
  2. Ability to learn and understand CNC machinery and production equipment.
  3. High school diploma or equivalent.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 2–3 years of experience operating CNC machinery, including 3-axis machines.
  2. Ability to interpret and translate engineering drawings and documentation.
  3. Understanding of applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
  4. Experience working with fiberglass materials.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where temperatures may exceed outside conditions and reach over 100°F at times.

The physical demands described here represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
  • Walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Climb into and out of boats using stairs.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Work 10-hour days, primarily on their feet.
  • Work overtime when needed, whether scheduled or unscheduled
