If you take pride in precision, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement—this is where you belong.

  • Your work directly impacts the quality and performance of our products

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, and machining centers)
  • Load materials, secure parts, and execute work orders based on specifications and blueprints
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards through inspection and measurement
  • Complete work order documentation accurately
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with training others
  • Follow all safety and quality standards while actively contributing ideas for improvement

What You Bring

  • Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions
  • Experience operating CNC equipment or similar machining tools
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Basic to intermediate math skills and problem-solving ability
  • Experience using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production

Preferred Experience

  • Prior manufacturing or machining experience
  • Vocational or technical training in machining or fabrication

What It’s Like to Work Here

At The Gund Company, we take pride in how we work just as much as what we build:

  • Hands-on, collaborative environment where teammates support each other
  • Culture of accountability and craftsmanship—we care about doing things the right way
  • Employee-owned company (ESOP)—your work drives shared success
  • Leaders who invest in training and skill development
  • Opportunities to grow into higher-level machining roles

Benefits That Support You

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability coverage
  • 401(k) with company match + Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
