Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a CNC Milling Machinist- 2nd Shift at our Euclid, Ohio plant. Core 2nd shift hours are between 3:30pm - 12am Monday - Friday.
The hourly rate for this position is $37.35 plus $1 shift premium per hour.

The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton’s Aerospace Group has an opening for a Certified FMS / CNC Milling Machining. This position is based in Euclid, OH.
The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
• Set-up, operate and maintain one or more pieces of computer-controlled equipment (machine tools, material transport systems) to produce in-process and finished dimensions on 5+ Axis Machines.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance ANSI Y14.5 and the Certified Operator program, QCP 23.0.
• Assistance may be given to other operators on proper operational procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
• Obtain, read and interpret complex prints, gages, programs, process sketches, set-up sheets, fixtures and tools. Ability use and understand a comparator to verify geometry of tools and parts (PC/TC)
• Perform layout and/or head check inspection for in-process and finished product to determine conformance to specifications as specified by Certified Log Sheets, SOP or CIR Card (Bench Inspection/Stocking)
• Assemble and preset tools with the aid of indicators, surface plates, micrometers, optical tool pre-setters and special fixtures to predetermined dimensions.
• Complete all necessary preparatory work such as part alignment, fixture probing, and spindle positioning prior to actual chip cutting. Perform sub-assembly operations.
• Use a variety of gages, electronic and mechanical (including performing standard CMM checks), to check product dimensions and determine conformance to specifications.
• Monitor cutting action, observe control panel indicators (machine tool and delivery system), positioning and sequence lights to detect errors. Analyze for root cause and implement corrective actions as required. Maintain set-ups by changing/ resetting tools, fixtures and control adjustments.
• Maintain accurate lot control (QCP 6.0) traceability, record keeping, logbook entries, NCR’s (QCP 11.0) and Certified Operator documentation. Accurately transcribe documentation details from individual device folders to master product documentation package.
• Chart and plot data per SPC requirement.
• Move material within the cell and perform minor machine maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio; no relocation benefit is provided.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.
• Minimum (6) six years set-up and operation of precision CNC equipment; of which (2) two years must be on precision 4 or 5 axis CNC milling machine equipment
• Minimum 6 Years GD&T Experience
• Pass an Eaton vision test.
• Become a Certified Operator.
• Perform 5S and other duties as assigned.
