Job Title: CNC Mill Programmer

Location: Waldenburg, MI

Hourly Rate: $35–$45 per hour (commensurate with experience)

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Programmer to join our Waldenburg, MI team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency programming in WorkNC, with strong capability across 3-axis, 3+2 axis, and 5-axis milling. This role requires hands-on programming expertise and a proven track record delivering high-precision aerospace tooling components.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and verify NC programs for 3-axis, 3+2 axis, and 5-axis milling operations using WorkNC.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to interpret blueprints, GD&T, and process specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, set up machining strategies, and optimize toolpaths to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and cycle times.
• Validate programs through simulations, verifying collision-free toolpaths and feasible fixturing.
• Support shop floor with in-process guidance, troubleshoot program issues, and provide actionable improvements.
• Maintain thorough documentation for programs, setups, and process instructions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce lead times and improve part quality.

Required Qualifications (non-negotiable)

• Minimum 5 years of CNC milling programming experience.
• Proficiency in WorkNC (Work N/C) for programming 3-axis, 3+2 axis, and 5-axis milling.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace tooling or related precision manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CAM software integration, tool management, and basic post-processing concepts.
• Understanding of metrology and inspection processes to support first-article and in-process checks.
