We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Henderson, Auckland. This fixed-term contract role is essential for ensuring the precision and quality of our production processes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in operating CNC machinery, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and operation.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
