What kind of work may be involved?

• Manufacture seals using CNC lathes, including programming and design methodology.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality and contractual requirements.
• Complete relevant inspection reports, test plans, and associated documentation accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and calibrated measuring instruments in good working condition.
• Ensure a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow all WHS&E requirements, including safe work practices, PPE use, and operating only authorised equipment.
• Make objective, evidence-based decisions regarding product quality and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with health & safety while managing time effectively and supporting company values.

Ideal skills & experience:

• Trade qualification in Machining.
• Proven competency in the operation of CNC lathes.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and related operating software.
• Basic Dynamic 365 system skills.
• Solid technical knowledge relevant to machining operations.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to work.
• Experience in Siemens Control and DMH software an advantage.
• Experience in machining of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Rotary Seals in Polyurethane, Rubber, PTFE’s and plastics an advantage
