CNC Machinists / CNC Operators — $24–$40/hr

Location: South Bend, IN

Pay: $24.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift Openings | Full-Time

Avero Talent is partnering with an established manufacturing company in South Bend, Indiana, to hire multiple CNC Machinists and CNC Operators. Whether you're an experienced machinist who can independently perform setups or a CNC operator looking for a stable opportunity with a great schedule, we'd like to hear from you!

Available Shifts

1st Shift — CNC Setup Machinists

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Optional overtime available
• Ideal for experienced machinists capable of independently setting up CNC equipment

2nd Shift — CNC Operators / Machinists

• Monday–Thursday, 2:18 PM–12:18 AM
• Four-day workweek — enjoy three-day weekends!
• Optional overtime available
• Initial training provided on first shift
• Primarily production machining — setup experience is not required

What You'll Do

Depending on your experience and assigned shift, responsibilities may include:

• Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments (1st shift)
• Load and unload parts and monitor machining operations
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Identify and troubleshoot machining or quality issues
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with other machinists and production personnel

What We're Looking For

• Previous CNC machining or CNC operating experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
• Experience with CNC setups, offsets, and tooling changes required for first-shift setup positions
• CNC programming experience is a plus, but not required for all positions
• Dependable, team-oriented individuals who take pride in their work
