American Thermowell, A TASI Measurement Company, has offices in Canada and the United States with 30 years of experience manufacturing thermowells for a global customer base. Using CNC equipment and a range of alloys, we create products tailored to our customers’ specific requirements.
Our experienced team works closely with customers to deliver precision manufacturing, specialty welding, and custom machining services. Quality craftsmanship, dependable delivery, and responsiveness to changing customer needs are at the heart of our work.
The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision components in a low-volume manufacturing environment. This position interprets blueprints, enters code for speed, feed, and cutting parameters, and adjusts tooling and offsets to meet dimensional tolerances. Responsibilities include calculating and verifying part dimensions using precision measuring instruments, performing daily equipment maintenance, ensuring proper machine lubrication before operation, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

We are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $18.00–$22.00 per, hour, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. You will receive a signing bonus of $500 after successfully completing your three (3) month probationary period and $500 after one (1) year of continuous employment. You must be on active payroll for the entire timeframe to qualify for the signing bonus.
In addition to base compensation, this role includes a comprehensive benefit package which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.

We operate in a decentralized manner and have fifteen business units with production facilities in the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, and England.
