$25-$28, $1.20 shift premium, $2.00 additional for Team Lead

Machinist Role
The Machinist sets up and operates manual and automated equipment, including lathes and welding systems, to produce, repair, and finish precision components. This role ensures products meet exact tolerances and specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
Machinist Responsibilities
Set up and operate machining and welding equipment, including manual lathes and automated or manual welding systems
Perform machining processes such as turning, boring, threading, drilling, and grinding to meet strict production specifications
Execute multiple welding processes including MIG, TIG, Arc, Sub Arc, and overlay applications
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to produce components within tight tolerances up to .001”
Select and adjust cutting tools, welding materials, and machine settings based on material and job requirements
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to make necessary operational adjustments
Maintain accurate production, inspection, and 6S clean-workstation records
Operate material handling equipment safely, including overhead cranes and forklifts
About You
Hold 1–5 years of hands-on experience in machining and welding operations
Demonstrate strong experience with manual lathe operation and surface grinding
Possess proficient skills in multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Arc
Hold ASME certification for specialized welding applications (preferred)
Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics proficiently
Utilize precision measuring tools effectively to maintain tolerances up to .001”
Calculate measurements accurately using fractions and decimals
Demonstrate knowledge of diverse material properties and their specific machining and welding demands
Exhibit strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and safe material handling abilities
