Job Location: Woodland, WA 98674
Salary Range: $22.00 - $38.00 Hourly

Position Overview:
Skilled machinist with experience in manufacturing environments, knowledge of CNC machines and controls, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. Adaptable to a variety of machining operations and dedicated to supporting efficient production and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Starts and monitors machine operations to identify malfunctions or machining variances, reporting issues to the lead person or supervisor as needed.
- Performs thorough first-piece inspections to ensure parts meet specifications before production continues.
- Meets established production standards and job completion times with minimal supervision.
- Identifies production or process problems and communicates them promptly to supervision.
- Demonstrates understanding of basic CNC machine language, including G-codes and M-codes.
- Verifies finished workpiece dimensions and quality using standard precision measuring instruments.
- Reads and interprets manufacturing and engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Assists with general machine shop duties and tasks as assigned.
- Adheres to all company safety policies, procedures, and equipment-use guidelines.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QualificationsJob Specification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Works independently, follows instructions, can concentrate for long periods of time
- Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on time for start of shift
- Properly uses basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.)
- Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Communicates well verbally and in writing
- Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity
- Team player with a can-do attitude

Preferred Education, Certifications and

Experience:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry with knowledge of speeds and feeds
- Experience with MS applications
- Strong skills and aptitude in math
- Completion of vocational or college training in machine shop (Certificate of Completion of basic machining course.)
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
