Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor CNC machining centers and lathes to produce precision components.
· Set up machines, including tooling installation, fixture positioning, zeroing, and program loading.
· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to machine parts to exact tolerances.
· Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
· Adjust machine offsets, feeds, and speeds as needed to maintain consistent part quality.
· Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and minor mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
· Follow all safety protocols and maintain organization and cleanliness in machining and production areas.
· Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
· Accurately document production data, inspection results, and tooling usage.
· Participate in preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; formal machining or manufacturing training preferred.
· 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred, but strong candidates with less experience may be considered.
· Proficiency with CNC mills and/or lathes.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
· Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities.
· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
· Willingness to work varying shifts as needed.
· Knowledge of G-code, tooling, and machining processes is a plus.
