Job Description

RAM Aviation, Space & Defense is a leader in aerospace innovation, powering flight and space exploration with precision solenoids, valves, and actuators. Since 1975, we’ve supported missions like the Space Shuttle and continue to deliver mission-critical components for commercial, defense, and satellite systems. As one of Southern Utah’s largest employers, we drive economic growth and offer high-skilled careers in engineering and manufacturing. From our advanced facility in St. George, we build the future of aerospace—on time, with excellence, and as a team. Join us to work on groundbreaking technology and help shape the future of flight and space exploration. Your career takes off here!

As a CNC Machinist at RAM, you’ll bring your expertise to a high-precision, high-impact environment where quality and craftsmanship matter. This is a hands-on, second-shift role (Monday–Thursday, with Fridays off!) ideal for experienced machinists with 5+ years of CNC machining experience. You’ll set up and operate a variety of CNC machines to produce complex aerospace components to exact specifications, applying your knowledge of mechanics, shop math, metal properties, and machining processes. This is not an entry-level position. It's an opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, advanced manufacturing setting. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and tooling reimbursement after the introductory period.

  • Program computers such as numerically controlled machine tools.
  • Set controls to regulate machining.
  • Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
