Job Description

CNC Machine Operator - 1st shift, Monday through Friday

Hourly Pay Range: $22 - 26 USD

Reports To

Machine Shop Production Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to understand G and M code programs and make minor changes as appropriate
  • Ability to understand wear offsets and change offsets accordingly
  • Ability to change tools in the machine and input tool height measurements
  • Ability to do their own prep set ups
  • Ability to hold +/- 0.010 tolerance
  • Ability to change fixtures and indicate fixture zero
  • Ability to practice safe work habits
  • Routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine
  • Quality inspection of parts produced using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring equipment
  • Must be able to pass a basic Math Test (Fractions and reading a tape measure)
  • Multi task / Operate Multiple machines
  • Follow all company work rules, company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area - this includes cleaning / maintaining equipment and work areas, and performing safety inspections of areas

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior Machine Operation preferred
  • CNC experience a plus
