Job Title: CNC Grinder -Rollomatic

Reports to:Production Unit Manager

Location:Nashville, TN

Department:Grinding

Classification:Non-Exempt

Travel:None

The CNC Grinder willbe responsible forproducing premium quality, high precision carbide, carbide tipped and HSS cutting tools using CNCRollomatictool cutting/grinding machines and programs. Facilitates andoperatesmachines by programming, setup,operatingmachines, inspecting tools for visible flaws and correcting quality issues to ensure a consistent product.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the setup and offsets asrequired

• Ability to accurately read blueprints.

• Must be able to inspect tools for defects using quality control tools.

• Responsible foraccurateprogramming and machine operation.

• Consistently evaluates the quality of the finished product coming off the CNC machine through visual inspection and the use of measurement tools.

• Communicates quality issues to programmers and/or General Managers.

• Pull material for up-coming jobs

• Check machinery on a daily basis to ensure functionality.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• 5+ years of experience with CNCGrinding /Operator experience

• Certification from a qualified training institution in the field of machining is ideal but notrequired

• Previousmanufacturing experience isrequired

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with Rollomatic Precision CNC Machines is highly preferred
