The organization is currently seeking a technical expert to manage and optimize their machining logic and CNC operations.

Mission

The CNC & Macro Programming Engineer holds full responsibility for the technical performance and logic of the CNC and deburring section. You will be tasked with reviewing, debugging, and optimizing existing part programs using advanced Macro Programming to ensure that production on both 3-axis and 5-axis machines meets modern standards for efficiency, precision, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities & Activities

1. Macro Programming & Logic Optimization

• 
  Technical Ownership:
  Develop and maintain CNC part programs using
  Macro Programming
  (Fanuc Macro B or equivalent) to automate and optimize machining cycles.

• 
  Legacy Program Management:
  Take ownership of existing programs inherited from previous systems; perform technical reviews to modernize code, improve reliability, and reduce cycle times.

• 
  3 & 5 Axis Execution:
  Design and execute precision programming strategies specifically for 3-axis and complex 5-axis machining centers.

• 
  Continuous Improvement:
  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance machine efficiency and reduce non-value-added movements through logical macro routines.

2. Tooling & Fixture Management

• 
  Technical Setup:
  Manage, prepare, and pre-set the tooling for the CNC/Deburring area machines, providing direct support to technicians.

• 
  Tooling Lifecycle:
  Monitor tooling consumption and wear life, implementing best practices to maximize tool performance and longevity.

• 
  NPI Support:
  Support the introduction of new products from a technical standpoint, ensuring correct fixture and tooling selection for new setups.

• 
  Inventory Control:
  Verify minimum tooling levels and coordinate re-ordering to prevent production delays.

3. Operational Support & Personnel Supervision

• 
  Area Supervision:
  Manage the personnel within the CNC/Deburring area, including the creation of shift schedules based on production requirements.

• 
  Technical Mentorship:
  Provide hands-on training for CNC/Deburring technicians on technical aspects such as tool pre-setting, wear evaluation, and best practices.

• 
  Maintenance Coordination:
  Prepare and verify the preventive maintenance schedules for CNC and Robot Deburring machines.

• 
  Schedule Fulfillment:
  Ensure the production schedule provided by the planning department is met through efficient resource allocation.

4. Quality & Compliance

• 
  In-Process Inspection:
  Supervise the use of control plans, control grids, and inspection tools to guarantee the 100% quality of manufactured components.

• 
  Standard Adherence:
  Ensure all production activities comply with ISO 9001 requirements and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

Education & Technical Skills

• 
  Education:
  Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• 
  Macro Expertise:
  Proficiency in CNC Macro Programming is mandatory.
  Ability to read, troubleshoot, and write parametric programs (Macro B).

• 
  Machinery Knowledge:
  Hands-on experience with the setup and programming of
  3-axis and 5-axis
  machining centers.

• 
  Technical Literacy:
  Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and update control plans/working instructions.

Experience & Competencies

• 
  Professional Background:
  3–5 years of hands-on experience in a precision CNC machining environment.

• 
  Analytical Skills:
  Strong ability to analyze legacy code and implement improvements for cycle time reduction.

• 
  Reliability:
  A proactive mindset with the ability to manage shift schedules and supervise a technical team effectively.
