We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant/Med Tech to work in Assisted Living. In this role, the Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with nursing care procedures and as directed by supervisor. This position reports to the Director of Assisted Living.

Schedule: Part-time position, 16-24 hours per week, Every Other Weekend,3rd Shift (11pm-7am).

This position is responsible for:

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs.
• Ensuring that beds are made, trash has been removed, and a high level of hygiene is maintained in the room.
• Ensuring that meals are served on time and assisting residents with meals and feeding, if necessary.
• Taking vital signs and reporting observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
• Practicing infection prevention and control measures in compliance with Federal, State and facility requirements.
• Documenting in CNA ECS flowsheet promptly, accurately and comprehensively/thoroughly.
• Making routine and frequent rounds to ensure that safety precautions/equipment are in place and in working order.
• Avoiding development of skin issues or skin breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning of residents that need assistance.

Qualifications:

• Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• One year of long-term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• Active CPR certification.
