What You'll Do
As an Overnight Caregiver, you will provide compassionate care and support, including:
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Medication reminders
- Overnight supervision and safety monitoring
- Meal and snack preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Dementia and memory care support
- Companionship and emotional support
- Engaging the client in meaningful activities such as conversation, reading, music, puzzles, and games
- Reporting any changes in the client's condition to the care team
What We're Looking For
We are seeking caregivers who are:
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Professional and trustworthy
- Strong communicators with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and follow a care plan
- Committed to providing exceptional care and companionship
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Meets state requirements for direct patient care providers
- Successful completion of required competency evaluations
- CPR certification preferred
- Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, HHA, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
