In this hybrid role, you will serve as both a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Transportation Driver, supporting the overall well-being of our residents. You’ll provide essential daily care while also ensuring safe and reliable transportation to and from medical appointments and facility transfers.

CNA Responsibilities:
Drive responsibly and safely in order to ensure passenger safety and minimize damage or excessive wear and tear on facility vehicle; convey any mechanical problems identified with facility vehicle to the Transportation Services Coordinator as soon as possible.
Ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition (e.g. fuel, wash, tires, and inspection); notify Transportation Services Coordinator when vehicle needs service.
Comply at all times with the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws, NYS regulations contained in Article 19A, and Woodmark Transportation Manual.
Ensure passengers are safely assisted and secured in the vehicle before departing for destination.
Ensure safe transport of resident, personal belongings, and medical equipment to destination, as requested by resident.
Notify family member or contact of new resident transfer.
Notify the pick up and destination location of the time of arrival.
