Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Part-Time Weekend Coverage

Facility: City View

Location: San Francisco, CA

Shifts Available: AM, PM, and NOC (Night)

Position Type: Part-Time (Weekends) $26-29 per hour

Job Summary

City View is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team for part-time weekend coverage. We have openings across all shifts—AM, PM, and NOC—allowing you to find the schedule that best fits your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality routine daily nursing care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Vital Signs & Monitoring: Assist licensed nursing staff by observing resident conditions, taking vital signs, and accurately documenting food/fluid intake and output.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help residents safely transfer, walk, or adjust positions in bed using proper safety equipment and transfer techniques.
  • Documentation: Record all care details clearly and promptly on flow sheets, electronic charting systems, or progress notes in an informative, descriptive manner.
  • Environment Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and calm environment, ensuring resident call lights and personal items are always within reach.
  • Compassionate Communication: Interact effectively and respectfully with residents, family members, visitors, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certification: Active and valid state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.
  • CPR/BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living facilities is preferred, but newly certified CNAs are welcome to apply!
  • Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
