Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Kern River Transitional Care Center – Bakersfield, CA
Shifts Available: 12-Hour Shifts
Salary Range: $18-$20/hr BOE
Status: Full-Time / Part-Time

We’re currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and enjoy working in a supportive and engaging environment, we’d love to meet you.

As a CNA, you will provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting. You will promote independence and dignity while maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with ADLs and restorative care

  • Observe and report changes in resident condition

  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies

  • Support residents’ rights and individuality

  • Provide compassionate care and emotional support

  • Use safe lifting techniques and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications:

  • Valid California CNA certification in good standing

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
