Pediatric Specialty Care at Philadelphia is seeking experienced Nurse Technicians (CNAs) to join our exceptional clinical team caring for medically fragile children and young adults in a warm, home-like environment.

This is not a typical CNA opportunity. Our Nurse Technicians are essential members of an interdisciplinary team caring for children with complex medical needs, including ventilator, tracheostomy, and rehabilitation patients.

We're seeking seasoned CNAs with at least five (5) years of experience in a pediatric healthcare setting who are passionate about providing compassionate, relationship-centered care.

Full-Time Opportunities Available (12-Hour Shifts)

Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Night Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Full-Time

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities

Nurse Technician (CNA) - What You'll Do

  • Provide exceptional hands-on care to medically complex pediatric residents.
  • Assist with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
  • Observe, report, and communicate changes in resident condition.
  • Partner with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding clinical care.
  • Help create a safe, engaging, and family-centered environment where children can thrive.

Qualifications

Nurse Technician (CNA)

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possesses and maintains current, valid CPR/First Aid certification
  • Current, valid driver license
  • Proficiency with computer programs and applications preferred
  • Active CNA certification (or Nurse Technician qualifications as applicable)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of pediatric healthcare experience
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience caring for medically fragile, ventilator-dependent, tracheostomy, or rehabilitation patients is strongly preferred.
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
