CNA – LVAD Cardiac Transplant Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents an ON-CALL position, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, 12 hour shifts) with rotating weekends.
In this position you will:
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
CLERICAL: Initiates and prioritizes transcription of provider orders. Assembles and maintains patient charts, current forms and results/reports.
COMMUNICATION: Serves as the hub of all communication for the unit. Displays professional interpersonal skills when communicating with patients, public and staff. Serves as front-line customer service representative.
