What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Help residents with meals, feeding, mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
- Obtain and record vital signs and other required observations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow individualized care plans and facility policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York State.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to resident care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
- Willingness to work weekends as required.
Pay, Shifts & Schedule
Pay Range: $18.50–$22.00 per hour, based on qualifications and years of experience.
- Weekday evening and night shift differential: Additional $1.50 per hour for eligible B and C shifts.
- Weekend differential: Additional 10% per hour for all weekend shifts.
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week.
- Part-Time: 22.5 hours per week.
- Weekend Availability: Required.
Available Shifts
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
