Join our Digital Hub in Sofia as our CMS & Digital Operations Manager and play a key role in delivering seamless digital experiences across our global web, app and Costa Express platforms. Working at the heart of our international marketing team, you’ll drive the execution, optimisation and governance of digital content across multiple markets, collaborating closely with product, design and technology teams to bring campaigns to life with pace, precision and consistency. What you’ll do
Being a CMS & Digital Operations Manager is your chance to join our exciting hub in Sofia - which means you will:
• Lead the day-to-day management and optimisation of CMS operations across Costa Coffee’s global web, app and Costa Express platforms, ensuring content is delivered accurately, consistently and at pace.
• Execute and coordinate digital content updates, campaign rollouts and localisation activities across multiple international markets, maintaining strong brand and accessibility standards.
• Partner closely with marketing, product, UX, design and technology teams to deliver seamless digital experiences and support ongoing platform enhancements and CMS improvements.
• Drive digital performance through content optimisation, SEO improvements, QR code tracking, analytics and operational best practice, helping markets maximise engagement and effectiveness.
• Support and enable global market teams through CMS training, governance, onboarding and playbook management, creating scalable processes that deliver operational excellence across the digital estate.
Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
• Proven experience managing CMS platforms and digital operations within a fast-paced marketing environment, ideally supporting consumer-facing websites in the retail, hospitality or QSR sector.
• Strong operational and project delivery skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, content updates and priorities across global markets with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, UX, product, design and technology, with a strong understanding of digital platforms, technical dependencies and CMS governance.
• Data-driven and commercially minded, with experience using analytics and SEO insights to optimise digital content performance, improve engagement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• An excellent communicator and team player with a global mindset, capable of building strong stakeholder relationships, supporting market enablement and mentoring junior team members in a collaborative environment.
Location – Sofia – Hybrid
The role will be hybrid model with the expectation of being in the Sofia office 2-3 days per week as required. Some international travel may also be required occasionally to UK.
