Job Description
Wood is recruiting for a CMMS Engineer to support client’s operations & maintenance team on fixed term basis.
Hybrid working with expectation of working 3 days from our client’s office in Aberdeen.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving maintenance master data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role supports maintenance, operations, engineering, and project teams by ensuring data quality, compliance with maintenance processes, and effective system utilization. You will also contribute to data improvement initiatives and supports the delivery of maintenance excellence across the facility.

CMMS Master Data Management
- Create, maintain, and update maintenance master data within SAP PM, including:
- Asset registers
- Maintenance plans
- Maintenance items
- Task lists
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Process and implement master data change requests in accordance with site requirements, data standards, governance processes, and approved procedures.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of maintenance master data to support effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
Data Quality & Governance
- Perform data quality checks, audits, and validation activities to ensure compliance with maintenance data standards and processes.
- Ensure integrity assurance data structures align with local standards, enabling effective results recording, analysis, and gap identification.
- Support brownfield projects by providing maintenance master data quality assurance and integrity support.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve data management practices, standardization, and process efficiency.
Systems Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide first-line support to site maintenance teams for CMMS and maintenance system-related issues.
- Deliver user guidance, training, and support on maintenance systems, CMMS functionality, and best practices.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
- Act as a subject matter resource for maintenance processes and CMMS configuration, supporting maintenance, operations, engineering, and project teams.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse maintenance, engineering, operations, and project data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support data improvement projects, including:
- Data cleansing
- Data mining
- Benchmarking
- Performance reporting
- Contribute to the maintenance community's objectives by supporting initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency, and overall maintenance performance.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with facility teams and supporting functions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure maintenance data requirements are understood and consistently applied.

Expected:
- Significant experience within a maintenance function in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience managing SAP PM master data, including:
- Asset registers
- Maintenance plans
- Task lists
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Strong understanding of maintenance management principles and processes, including planning, scheduling, and maintenance performance measurement.
- Demonstrated experience working with maintenance KPIs and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
- Proven data management and analytical skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple disciplines.
