Job Description

Are you an ambitious individual looking for a new role where you can work with cutting edge technology?

At Doncasters Southern Tool, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an entry level CMM Operator to join our team in Oxford, AL.

As a CMM Operator, you will use CMM/Blue Light, dials, micrometers, calipers and other precise measuring equipment to accurately measure components to customer requirements. Organize and upload data, analyse data and complete all manufacturing paperwork associated with the CMM area.

You will use your report writing and process control skills to influence and inspire change while ensuring that precision and quality considerations are paramount at all times.

You will also use your academic experience to help support in new product introduction and development with the opportunity to be a pivotal team member in our Layout department.

Qualifications

Proven experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and ideally experience in blueprint interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of metallic materials.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have excellent understanding of data sheets, shop math and be able to solve right angle trigonometric problems and those who are proficient in exporting data to Excel for statistical evaluation.
