CMI DATA INTERN

We’re looking for a CMI Data Intern to join our team. Data Management is key for our organization and guides strategic decisions. This role would report to the Prestige, OTM Team Lead. This is a unique opportunity to build strong analytical capabilities, gain exposure to the Canadian retail landscape, and develop into a future insight’s leader.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• POS monthly excel reports and scorecards from various sources
• Assist in preparing insights and materials for monthly business reviews
• Data management expertise with advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, and large data set manipulation, transforming complex datasets into clear insights
• Communicate and present confidently to cross-functional teams, translating data into insights
• Serve as a trusted data expert to Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting and data outputs
• Help support data-driven reports on assortment, pricing, and promotions
• This role requires a highly analytical and data-driven thinker who can translate complex data into actionable insights and easy to navigate reports.
• Comfortable working with numbers and interpreting data

WHAT YO`U’LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:

• A passion for Beauty and love a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communications skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Very organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Experience using POS data
• Excel Advanced:
  • VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, If/Sum statements, Index Matching
  • When you use Excel: do you use a mouse? (Knowledge of shortcuts)
• PowerBI and Alteryx experience
• Critical Thinker and creative at problem solving
• Ability manage complexity
  • Ability to prioritize & confidence to ask for help and understanding
• Ability to manage complex working relationships
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas to upper management

• Base Salary: $36,608 CAD Annually
• Hybrid work model
