Job Description

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs a variety of clinical and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a physician. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting the reason for the visit, assisting with procedures and in-office testing, scheduling appointments, completing pre-certifications and referrals, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ordering supplies. The CMA works collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team and supports Adams Memorial Health Network’s mission, vision, and values.

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!

Requirements:

40 hours per week - First Shift

Monday - Friday

7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

CMA Certification Required or Obtained Within 6 Months of Hire
