Job Description

If you’re a commercially minded leader who can spot opportunities, drive performance, and think strategically about growth- this could be your next step.

This is an opportunity to lead a well-established clinic in Cardiff, supported by a team of high-performing Hearing Aid Audiologists, a loyal customer base, and the scale, stability, and investment of Boots Hearingcare and Sonova behind you. You don’t need to be a qualified Audiologist- we’ll train you to work as a Hearing Wellness Advisor, so you can stay close to the operation and customer journey.

This isn’t about fixing underperformance. It’s about unlocking potential, driving growth, and taking a strong clinic to the next level.

The clinic environment

You’ll be based in our Cardiff clinic, a modern, well-equipped environment designed to support both clinical excellence and commercial success, including:

  • Access to the latest hearing technology and product innovations
  • Advanced diagnostic capability
  • Structured diaries supporting high-quality consultations
  • Strong operational and admin support

Everything is already in place; your role is to maximise it.

The role

As a Cluster Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead the overall performance of the Cardiff clinic
  • Be present in-store, working alongside the team as a trained Hearing Wellness Advisor
  • Identify commercial opportunities to grow revenue and customer outcomes
  • Analyse performance data and translate this into clear actions
  • Optimise clinic utilisation, diary efficiency, and conversion
  • Drive local engagement and community awareness
  • Maintain high operational and compliance standards
  • Act as an ambassador for Boots Hearingcare, building strong customer relationships
  • Partner with regional and support teams to deliver business priorities

Progression & development

We’re investing in the next generation of leaders.

This role offers clear progression into:

  • Senior Cluster / Regional leadership roles
  • Senior Regional Sales Manager positions
  • Broader leadership opportunities across the business

You’ll also benefit from:

  • Ongoing CPD and leadership development
  • Exposure to commercial and operational strategy
  • The opportunity to shape how hearing care is delivered across your cluster

What’s in it for you

  • Competitive salary (DOE)
  • £5,064 car allowance
  • Monthly bonus scheme + cluster bonus
  • 25–30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Boots Discount Card
  • Free hearing aids (if required as an employee)
  • Free flu vaccination (discounted for family members)
  • Pension scheme & life assurance
  • Flexible Benefits Box – tailor your package
  • Option to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday
  • Option to increase personal pension contributions
  • Telus wellbeing support – confidential support inside and outside work
  • Long service awards recognising your contribution

What we’re looking for

  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving performance
  • Strategic thinker who can identify and act on growth opportunities
  • Experience in retail, healthcare, or customer-led environments
  • Confident working with data, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Comfortable being hands-on and present in-store
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills

We care. We drive innovation. We strive for excellence. We build the best team.
