Senior Executive - Cluster Head

Location : Katunayake

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute operational strategies to achieve business plans within the approved annual budget, ensuring sustainable business growth.

  • Take overall responsibility for the assigned cluster operations and act as the primary contact point for all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure all internal and external clients receive the highest standard of service, striving to deliver defect-free service the first time.

  • Drive client retention and expand the share of wallet while consistently meeting all operational deliverables.

  • Ensure timely action on all client complaints and feedback by coordinating with relevant functions and supporting smooth implementation of corrective actions.

  • Conduct regular client and supplier reviews to evaluate and enhance performance.

  • Initiate and lead operational excellence and cost-saving initiatives within the cluster through continuous process improvements.

  • Support the Finance team by providing accurate and timely inputs for invoicing and P&L preparation.

  • Ensure 100% adherence to certifications and compliance requirements, including ISO, C-TPAT, GRS/RCS/OCS, SMETA, and others.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with BOI, Customs, and other local authorities to ensure full compliance with regulatory procedures.

  • Lead and guide the team towards operational excellence while ensuring seamless execution of client contracts.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • 6 passes at GCE or London O/L & minimum 2 Passes for A/L's or UGC approved A/L equivalent foundation course.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory controls, ISO Standards, compliance framework and certifications.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
