Cluster General Manager | Ba Na Hills, Vietnam

An opportunity to lead one of Southeast Asia's most significant multi-brand hospitality developments, overseeing the pre-opening and launch of three IHG hotels within Vietnam's iconic Ba Na Hills destination.

Located 1,500 metres above sea level near Da Nang, Ba Na Hills is one of Vietnam's most recognised integrated tourism destinations. Home to the world-famous Golden Bridge, record-breaking cable car system and French village "in the clouds", the destination attracts approximately five million visitors annually and continues to expand with new leisure, entertainment, MICE and hospitality developments.

This landmark opportunity will oversee the pre-opening and operation of a three-hotel integrated hospitality development at Ba Na Hills, Vietnam.

Scheduled to open across 2026 and 2027, the development will comprise approximately 2,000 guestrooms and serve as the hospitality cornerstone of Ba Na Hills' next phase of expansion, supporting a destination expected to welcome 10 million visitors annually over the coming years.

The role

• Lead the successful pre-opening, opening and stabilisation of three IHG hotels within the Ba Na Hills Complex.
• Develop and execute the cluster business strategy, driving commercial performance across multiple brands.
• Build and lead a high-performing cluster leadership team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and excellence.
• Deliver outstanding financial performance, guest satisfaction and operational excellence across the complex.
• Partner closely with ownership, IHG and key stakeholders to maximise long-term asset value.
• Position the hotels as an integral part of the wider Ba Na Hills destination, creating a seamless guest experience across the integrated resort ecosystem.
• Drive Food & Beverage, MICE and commercial performance across the cluster.
• Ensure each hotel successfully delivers its individual brand promise while leveraging the benefits of a cluster operating model.

What we need from you

• Proven General Manager or Cluster General Manager experience within complex, upscale hospitality environments.
• Significant pre-opening leadership experience, ideally across multiple hotels or integrated resort developments.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-property operations or large-scale hospitality complexes.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience partnering closely with owners and corporate teams.
• Strong Food & Beverage leadership experience; MICE experience is advantageous.
• Previous IHG and Vietnam experience are preferred, with China market experience considered an advantage.
• A strategic, self-driven and hands-on leader with the ability to inspire teams, execute effectively and deliver outstanding results.
