• Familiarize with design and layout of all the Electrical system. Obtain understanding of operating procedure related to such.
• Follow the shift duties as per department duty roster.
• Ensure update of shift log book and related check list.
• Install, repair and maintains electrical and mechanical equipment’s such as DB’s, MDB, Switchgears, Motors, Starters. and other electro-mechanical processing units.
• Performs tasks of PPM, replacing worn parts and accomplishing other major repairs.
• Perform safe operation methods and procedures in trouble shooting of all Electrical system.
• Report any unusual finding or safety hazards immediately to the Shift Supervisor/Duty Engineer
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• To be able to perform job with relates to HVAC, Plumbing and AV
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property is required
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
• Proven work experience as an Electrician
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
