Job Description

The NFL is seeking an Associate to join our Club & College Social Marketing team. This individual will support day-to-day social operations across both NFL clubs and collegiate partners, helping manage content distribution, partner communications, reporting, monitoring, and program execution. The role will serve as a liaison between 115+ colleges, all 32 NFL clubs, external vendors, and NFL internal marketing and social teams while providing support across club social channels, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of and passion for football, the collegiate athletics landscape, current and former NFL players, and social media.

This is a long-term hourly contract opportunity based onsite at the NFL League Office in New York City.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day content sharing process with college partners, including identifying and distributing relevant photo/video content both on gamedays and throughout the week
  • Create, maintain, and distribute recurring analytics and performance reporting for college and club social channels across domestic and international platforms
  • Help coordinate and communicate club and college initiatives with the Club Social, Player Social, NFL Social, LCC, and broader Marketing teams
  • Assist in the execution of League tentpoles, marketing campaigns, and other key initiatives by coordinating participation and support from club and college partners
  • Provide ongoing reporting, monitoring, and operational support for Club & College Social Marketing programs and priorities
  • Support content programming with occasional content capture for college-focused initiatives and events for NFL social channels
  • Compile content examples, social trends, best practices, and performance highlights for internal reporting, partner updates, and team planning
  • Maintain professional communication with college partners, club contacts, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years social media, content or editorial experience, preferably in sports
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Experience with social analytics tools and pulling social performance reports
  • Experience with college athletics and understanding of the college football landscape
  • Experience using social platforms in a professional capacity
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
