About the role

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer to help build, secure and operate our hybrid cloud environment while driving automation and modern engineering practices across our technology landscape. You’ll be responsible for the deployment, administration, automation, migration and ongoing operation of systems across both cloud and on-premise environments. You'll work closely with CloudOps, Security, Networks, Architecture and Delivery teams to ensure our platforms remain secure, reliable and highly available.

  • Design, deploy and support infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Provision and configure cloud-based environments to support complex application workloads.
  • Support application migrations to cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions.
  • Drive automation and orchestration to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure reference architectures and operational standards.
  • Support monitoring, observability and performance management across infrastructure services.
  • Contribute to cloud strategy, platform improvements and emerging technology initiatives.
  • Coach and support colleagues in cloud, DevOps and infrastructure best practices.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for: 

  • Experience across both Windows and Linux operating systems, with strong confidence supporting enterprise environments.
  • Experience working within cloud and datacentre hybrid environments.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services and networking (Azure cloud experience is highly desirable)
  • Experience provisioning and configuring cloud-based infrastructure supporting complex application environments
  • Strong DevOps experience, particularly CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security best practices
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools across the infrastructure stack
  • Scripting experience in one or more of:
  • Python
  • PowerShell
  • Bash
