Job Description

Security Clearance
  • An active government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required for this position
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of cloud systems.
  • Manages infrastructure and processes related to these systems.
  • Provides support to include day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution.
  • Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Configures and fine tunes cloud infrastructure systems, Support Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Net requirements and processes.
  • Support cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Writes software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby for software automation.

Qualifications
  • Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification with five (5) years of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience on projects with similar requirements may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
