Job Description

Job Purpose

Provide end-to-end delivery and operational support for Microsoft Azure environments by designing, building, migrating, and modernizing enterprise workloads. This role combines hands-on project implementation with day-to-day operations to ensure platform stability, security, performance, and continuous improvement across integrated IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.

Responsibilities

Azure Project Delivery (Build & Implementation)

  • Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Lead and execute enterprise initiatives, including:
    • Application integrations within Azure and hybrid environments.
    • Workload migrations from on-premises to Azure (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and modernization).
    • OS technology refresh and transformation into Azure-based workloads.
    • Deployment of enterprise systems across IaaS and PaaS models.
  • Architect and integrate Azure solutions with external SaaS platforms (e.g., identity providers, enterprise SaaS applications, third-party systems).
  • Build and configure core Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security components.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, highly available, scalable, and compliant with organizational policies.

Azure Operations (Run & Support)

  • Manage and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Operate and support integrations between Azure workloads and SaaS platforms.
  • Monitor and optimize platform health and performance using Azure-native and third-party monitoring tools.
  • Perform patching, OS upgrades, and lifecycle management of Azure resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Administer backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Optimize cloud cost consumption and resource utilization.
  • Enforce and maintain governance, policies, RBAC, and security controls.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions including on-premises to Azure migrations, hybrid application integrations, OS modernization, and greenfield Azure builds.
  • Apply deep knowledge of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Storage, and core networking components (VNet, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Application Gateway).
  • Manage identity and security using Microsoft Entra ID, including access controls and governance best practices.
  • Implement and support business continuity solutions using Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
  • Develop automation and deployment scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI, and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
  • Adopt DevOps practices by supporting CI/CD pipelines and integrating Azure environments with enterprise SaaS and third-party cloud platforms.

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Azure infrastructure experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering enterprise-scale Azure build and migration projects.
  • Experience supporting production Azure and hybrid environments.
  • Ability to work across multi-cloud and SaaS-integrated architectures.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect
