BangkokCloud Specialist (Cloud Architecture)

• Design, develop, and enforce cloud governance based on the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework (WAF), which includes:
  a. Cost Management:Developing policies for cost control across all cloud platforms.
  b. Security Baseline:Developing and enforcing security policies across network, data, and asset configurations.
  c. Identity Baseline:Ensuring consistent application of identity across cloud adoption efforts.
  d. Resource Consistency Ensuring resources are configured consistently to manage risks related to onboarding, drift, discoverability, and recovery.
  e. Deployment Acceleration Accelerating cloud deployment activities through tools such as automation, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and DevSecOps pipelines.

• Hybrid/multi-cloud design, workload migration, networking (DX, ExpressRoute, Cloud Interconnect), multi-cloud disaster recovery and implement cloud architecture (landing zones) for applications based on stakeholder requirements.

• Develop necessary operational processes to ensure excellent cloud performance.

• Provide intensive support in incident handling and troubleshooting cloud-related issues, including root cause analysis for production errors, and documenting post-mortem reports and technical reports of incidents and infrastructure issues.

• Assist in security consulting to address cloud-based security vulnerabilities.

• Design, develop, and implement automation to optimize application availability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and alerting.

• Prepare documentation to seamlessly hand over day-to-day operational tasks to the Day 2 Operations Team.

• Provide cloud knowledge transfer for the enterprise cloud implementation team.

Qualifications

• Experience 3+ years in Cloud Architect, with deep hands-on in at least 2 hyperscalers and familiarity with others or at least 3 years multi-cloud governance.

• ​Multi-cloud literacy Familiarity with the service models, IAM patterns, networking, and security controls of at least 3 strategic clouds(Azure, AWS, OCI) and working knowledge of GCP & Huawei Cloud.

• Cloud Governance Understanding of FinOps, compliance (CIS, NIST, ISO, GDPR), and policy enforcement (Azure Policy, AWS SCP/Config, GCP Org Policy, OCI IAM/Policies, Huawei Enterprise Management).

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience with Terraform (multi-cloud), CloudFormation (AWS), Deployment Manager (GCP), Resource Manager (OCI), and Huawei HCL.

• Zero Trust & Security Posture Mastery of IAM, encryption, identity federation, audit logging, and workload isolation across providers.

• Cloud Operations (Day-2) Monitoring, incident response, DR drills, cost optimization, SRE/ITIL practices.

• Soft Skills Stakeholder communication, executive reporting, mentoring, change management.
