Job Description

Synechron is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive expertise in .NET development and enterprise architecture to drive strategic technology projects. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, designing scalable and secure software solutions, and implementing industry best practices within fast-paced, complex environments. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into technical strategies, oversee project delivery, and foster continuous improvement aligned with overarching organizational goals to support digital transformation and operational excellence.

Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

• NET Framework / .NET Core (latest versions, e.g., .NET 6 or 7) — advanced experience developing enterprise applications supporting scalable, secure systems

• C# programming language — strong hands-on experience and expertise in multi-layered application development

• Development tools: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code — proficient in code editing, debugging, and deployment support

• Databases: SQL Server, Oracle — deep understanding of schema design, query optimization, and data integration

• Version control: Git, Bitbucket — extensive experience managing source code, branches, and collaboration workflows

Preferred Software Skills:

• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP — experience deploying, scaling, and supporting cloud-native systems (preferred)

• DevOps tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD — automation and deployment pipelines support (preferred)

• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes — for environment consistency, deployment, and scalability support

• Security tools and frameworks supporting encryption, identity, and access management in enterprise settings

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, resilient enterprise applications using .NET technologies

• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable application architectures supporting operational and strategic goals

• Manage and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines

• Oversee system integration, performance optimization, and security practices supporting compliance and operational excellence

• Drive automation initiatives to streamline deployment, environment management, and continuous integration/delivery processes

• Support system upgrades, migration, and cloud deployment activities supporting enterprise growth

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical units, translating strategic needs into technical solutions

• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering architecture, deployment, security procedures, and operational guidelines

Experience Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of enterprise software development experience supporting scalable, secure systems supporting mission-critical operations

• Proven leadership in architecture design, team management, and project execution in complex environments

• Extensive experience with .NET Core/.NET Framework, API development, and cloud deployment (preferred)

• Strong understanding of enterprise security, compliance standards, and performance tuning support

• Industry experience in finance, banking, or regulated sectors preferred, with a focus on supporting large-scale enterprise systems

Day-to-Day Activities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications supporting core operational workflows

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements

• Manage team delivery, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards to ensure quality and security

• Support system migration, updates, and cloud deployment activities supporting operational resilience and compliance

• Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and implement security enhancements proactively

• Document architecture, security controls, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines for ongoing support

• Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives supporting agility and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent

• 8 to 10 years of enterprise software development experience supporting large, scalable systems in regulated environments

• Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent (preferred)

• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex, compliant enterprise solutions supporting digital transformation
