We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on platforms such as Azure, AWS, and AWS GovCloud. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in programming languages and DevOps practices, as well as a robust understanding of security designs and risk mitigation strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can architect scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, and AWS GovCloud to meet business requirements and ensure optimal performance and scalability.

• Develop and maintain applications using technologies such as Node.js and Python, ensuring best practices in coding and application architecture.

• Implement front-end solutions using frameworks like Angular, ensuring a seamless user experience and effective integration with back-end services.

• Integration of AI tools into the software development life cycle.

• Automate the deployment of containerized microservices through CI/CD pipelines, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of deployment processes.

• Utilize DevSecOps practices to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that security requirements are met and risks are effectively mitigated.

• Proficiently use DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and various AWS services to optimize development and operational workflows.

• Conduct thorough security assessments and testing of cloud solutions to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related field and 7+ years of cloud engineering/architecture experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

• Active DoD Secret clearance at minimum – required.

• Experience within the DHA theater – highly preferred.

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong focus on Azure, AWS, and AWS GovCloud

• Proficient in programming languages such as Node.js and Python, with hands-on experience in front-end development using Angular

• Demonstrated expertise in automating deployment processes for containerized microservices using CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong background in security design principles, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies, with a focus on ensuring secure cloud solutions.

• Extensive experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and a variety of AWS services

• Ability to architect and deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions that meet organizational needs and comply with regulatory requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

USD $191,155.20/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
