Job Description

The Cloud Solution Architect for Dynamics 365 and Copilot is a senior customer-facing technical leadership role for professionals with 8+ years of experience in business applications, cloud solution architecture, consulting, customer success, and AI-enabled transformation. The role helps customers and partners accelerate business value through Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, Dataverse, Azure, and agentic AI solutions.

This role acts as a trusted advisor to business and technical decision makers, translating customer priorities into scalable, secure, resilient, and outcome-driven solution architectures. The architect drives adoption, usage, and value realization by guiding customers through solution strategy, implementation readiness, technical validation, governance, operational excellence, change management, and long-term organizational adoption.

The role requires deep expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot capabilities, agent development, enterprise integration, business process transformation, customer success practices, and the ability to influence executive stakeholders, partners, product teams, and internal technical communities.

Responsibilities

Customer and Partner Success with Business Impact

• Drive customer and partner success by aligning Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot solutions to business outcomes, transformation priorities, and measurable value.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, engaging with business decision makers, technical decision makers, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and other senior stakeholders.
• Translate customer and partner challenges into scalable industry and business application solutions using Microsoft technologies and proven architecture patterns.
• Guide customers on implementation strategy, architecture design, governance, operational readiness, adoption planning, and change management.
• Identify, escalate, and remove blockers that impact go-live, adoption, consumption, usage growth, or business value realization.
• Support customers in building secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost-effective, and performance-optimized business application architectures.

Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Copilot Architecture

• Provide technical and functional guidance across Dynamics 365 applications such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Project Operations, and Customer Insights.
• Design and advise on Copilot and agent-based solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Dataverse, connectors, AI Builder, Azure AI, and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility.
• Define integration patterns across Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, third-party enterprise applications, APIs, and enterprise data platforms.
• Advise on Power Platform governance, environment strategy, security, data loss prevention, lifecycle management, ALM, DevOps, and Center of Excellence practices.
• Deliver architecture reviews, technical validations, proof of concepts, pilots, solution assessments, and implementation advisory engagements.
• Promote reuse of Microsoft best practices, reference architectures, implementation patterns, repeatable intellectual property, and scalable industry solution assets.

Consumption, Adoption and Growth

• Identify opportunities to increase usage, adoption, consumption, and business value from Microsoft Business Applications and Copilot investments.
• Work with sales, customer success, partner, engineering, and product teams to support strategic opportunities and customer transformation initiatives.
• Help customers and partners understand Microsoft value propositions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Support partners in building repeatable solutions, industry offerings, implementation practices, and scalable delivery models around Dynamics 365 and Copilot.
• Capture customer insights, adoption blockers, product feedback, technical gaps, and success stories to influence product teams and internal communities.

Technical Leadership

• Lead technical discussions, architecture workshops, solution reviews, and executive-level conversations with customers and partners.
• Share proven practices across internal teams, technical communities, partner forums, and customer-facing events.
• Contribute to technical readiness, internal enablement, reusable assets, demos, reference implementations, and solution accelerators.
• Stay current on Microsoft Business Applications, Copilot, generative AI, agentic AI, Power Platform, Azure, security, compliance, and industry trends.

Mentor peers and contribute to capability building across the organization through readiness sessions, technical coaching, and community leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technology solutions, consulting, architecture, implementation, customer success, practice development, or technical advisory roles.
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 or comparable enterprise business application platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or ServiceNow.
• Experience working in customer-facing roles with business decision makers, technical decision makers, IT leaders, implementation partners, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience delivering technical projects involving business applications, low-code platforms, integrations, automation, governance, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and adoption-ready technology architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in cloud technologies, business applications, enterprise architecture, consulting, or practice development.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and agent development.
• Experience designing Copilot, conversational AI, generative AI, autonomous agent, or AI-first business process automation solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure services, Microsoft 365, identity, security, compliance, data integration, APIs, and enterprise architecture patterns.
• Experience with solution governance, ALM, DevOps, environment strategy, platform administration, and operational excellence.
• Microsoft certifications such as Dynamics 365 Solution Architect, Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Copilot Studio, or AI-related certifications.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, executive engagement, technical leadership, and partner collaboration skills.
