As a Cloud Solution Architect Cloud & AI in the Customer Success Unit for critical infrastructure and manufacturing customers, you help organizations in the Netherlands reimagine how they operate with responsible artificial intelligence and cloud solutions. You work closely with business and technology stakeholders to shape transformation journeys that are grounded in real-world outcomes and measurable value.

In this role, you focus on frontier artificial intelligence transformation with large customers, helping them envision, build, and adopt solutions that use platforms such as Microsoft Foundry and GitHub Copilot to accelerate innovation. You guide customers in identifying the right use cases, designing secure, resilient, and scalable architectures, and driving organizational change so their teams can successfully embrace new ways of working. By combining deep technical expertise with strong customer empathy, you help move ideas from concept into production solutions that deliver tangible business impact.

Responsibilities

• Proactively act as the voice of the customer, sharing ideas, feedback, insights, success stories and strategic and technical input with internal teams. Identify patterns of feedback across customers and industries and use them to develop strategic and actionable insights that influence product roadmaps and delivery approaches.
• Identify and translate customer problems into industry solutions aligned with Microsoft product and platform strategy, explaining how they meet customer outcomes and return-on-investment goals. Help customers adopt and use cross-solution area cloud and artificial intelligence solutions and build strong relationships with technical and business decision makers, including executive stakeholders.
• Deliver solutions in line with company methodologies, ensuring proven practices and patterns are followed to prepare customers for operational readiness and achievement of their business goals. Help customers deploy for long-term organizational adoption to increase satisfaction and drive cloud usage, while guiding them towards secure, resilient, and cost-optimized architectures.
• Leverage market insights and demand signals to help identify areas for upskilling and readiness, and act as a mentor who leads technical and non-technical learning activities. Contribute to and sometimes lead presentations and community engagements that elevate the Microsoft brand and share learnings across internal and external audiences.
• Operate according to required operational excellence and proven practice standards across all sales and delivery stages. Collaborate across Microsoft and customer teams to achieve objectives, proactively manage business and technical risks, and continuously prioritize work to align with customer and business priorities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Strong software development background, with hands-on experience building or integrating cloud-based applications and solutions.
• Strong cloud architecture experience, designing secure, scalable and resilient solutions on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or equivalent.
• Hands-on generative AI experience, designing or delivering solutions using Microsoft Foundry, GitHub Copilot or comparable enterprise AI/developer platforms.
• Proven customer-facing technical experience, working with business and technical decision-makers to take cloud and AI solutions from use case through to adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience translating real customer problems into production-ready AI solutions.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and influencing senior customer stakeholders.
• Relevant cloud, AI or developer certifications.

Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 65,100.00 - € 110,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
