NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of NN Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units.

Cloud Solution Architect

The Solution Architect ensures that teams deliver secure, domain-aligned, production-ready solutions by correctly applying and evolving domain, API, authentication, authorization, and platform building blocks. The role bridges standards and delivery by aligning teams, guiding correct usage, enabling roadmaps, and evolving building blocks where justified by real-world needs.

Your Impact as Cloud Solution Architect: What are you going to do

Key responsibilities include:

• Apply existing domain and API building blocks (DDD, REST, EDA, MCP) and ensure solutions align to defined bounded contexts and published contracts.
• Determine API fit-for-purpose by selecting appropriate existing APIs; identify, articulate, and escalate gaps where required capabilities or standards are missing.
• Guide and evolve security architecture, with equal focus on:
• Authentication (AuthN): correct application and extension of documented identity and token flows (OIDC/OAuth2, client types, audiences, token lifetimes, trust models).
• Authorization (AuthZ): applying and extending the ReBAC model when solution needs exceed current capabilities, in alignment with security governance.
• Secure connectivity patterns including mTLS and certificate-based trust where required.
• Architect missing building blocks for emerging technologies (e.g. introducing MCP as a standard capability pattern), ensuring they are reusable, governed, and secure by design.
• Align across teams and domains (Design, Platform, Delivery):
• Translate architectural gaps and cross-team dependencies into clear enablers.
• Ensure these enablers are prioritized and placed on the appropriate team roadmaps.
• Act as a synchronizing role to prevent fragmentation and duplicate solutions.
• Define solution architecture aspects related to infrastructure and connectivity (API gateways, networking, certificates, environments) within platform guardrails.
• Create and maintain clear architecture artefacts to support alignment, delivery, and governance.
• Follow through to production by supporting teams during implementation, resolving architectural blockers, and assisting with defects, change requests, and production hardening.

The team you’ll join:

You will work with a more of 25 experts in API Platform and API Governance solution, in a Spain BU project providing service to all Business Unit department .

Daily you will have to manage challenges in a Agile Project and with the English as a native language.

You are Cloud Solution Architect and will be in coordination with the Tech Lead, implementing the CORE solution.

Who You Are:

• You are a Senior “technical” lead, oriented to well-arquitecture designing. Your passion is “connect” ideas with Solutions, you are the bridge between your Product Owner and your team.
• You will work in continuous coordination with your Teach Lead and your Team, defining the best practice of your projects.

As a overall summary of your skills, you are:

• A technical lead, oriented to the solution
• Is very important than you have capabilities of deep in the implementation and to be mentor for the juniors members.
• Take the requirements and convert in technical artifacts is your passion.
• Focus in the quality, performance and reliability of the system
