Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
The selected candidate will collaborate with the NiagaraFiles development team to maintain and modernize the IC NiagaraFiles application and its components. This work includes contributing to unclassified Apache NiFi components that form the foundation of the IC’s NiagaraFiles platform.
Telework is permitted up to two days per week, contingent on the availability of tasks suitable for remote execution, such as Apache NiFi development. You must be location to the work site.
Modernization efforts will focus on developing NiFi-based microservices and refactoring existing NiagaraFiles components to improve performance, scalability, and functionality within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
