Own management of Azure reserved instances with clear governance, forecasting, and variance discipline. Drive rightsizing and evaluate tooling for multi-cloud cost optimization with measurable ROI. Advance infrastructure as code (IaC) automation and golden path adoption in partnership with platform engineering.

Observability and Monitoring Establish Azure monitoring and observability standards, patterns, and SLA/SLO frameworks across infrastructure, application, and AI workloads. Leverage telemetry, adoption KPIs, and post-incident findings to inform tactical and strategic improvements.

Vendor and Partner Management Manage day-to-day operational relationships with Microsoft and other strategic cloud, security, backup, and automation partners. Support commercial negotiations, drive vendor accountability, and ensure contracted resources deliver measurable value.
