Enbridge is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist II to provide senior-level technical expertise in securing our cloud environments. In this role, you will design and implement cybersecurity configurations, processes, and best practices across our cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure IaaS and PaaS. You will lead program development, execution, and oversight of both internal teams and third-party partners. As a key contributor, you will support enterprise-wide security initiatives and continuously enhance cloud security capabilities. Note: Internally this role is titled Specialist II TIS Cloud Security.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and implement secure configuration standards aligned with the Cloud Center of Excellence, focusing on Azure IaaS and PaaS platforms.

  • Identify and report on deviations from cloud security standards, ensuring alignment with technical compliance requirements.

  • Lead evaluation, selection, and procurement of third-party tools and services to enhance the cloud security program.

  • Drive continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure and platform as-a-service security as a member of the Cloud Center of Excellence team.

  • Assess security risks, prioritize remediation efforts, and provide strategic recommendations based on business and operational needs.

  • Develop and deliver actionable documentation, including cloud security roadmaps, standards, and best practices..

  • Continuously develop, enhance, document and communicate cloud security best practices, processes, and standards.

  • Provide senior-level guidance, reporting, and insights on cloud security posture to leadership and executive stakeholders.

  • Develop and present reporting on the state of cloud security to senior management and executive level audiences.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree OR a two-year technical diploma in Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent work experience; with Seven or more years of related experience in IT roles, with a focus on Security, Operations, Architecture, Integration & Design.

  • Deep expertise in Azure cloud implementation, including IaaS, PaaS, and security services.

  • Familiarity and working experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, and Tenable Cloud Security.

  • Experience with cloud best practices, policy-as-code frameworks, and multi-cloud environments (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and lead across teams.

  • Possession or working toward achieving the following professional designations: CISSP, CSSLP.

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud certifications in Security and/or Design (ex. AZ-500).

  • Position may require occasional work-related travel, based on accountabilities.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
