Job Tittle- Cloud Security Engineer

Job Location: Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX (Remote until COVID)

Duration: 1 + year

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Work on design, configure, deploy, manage and tests software, with specific focus on security tooling and solutions aimed to enforce security
• Monitor security systems and tooling, record activities in ticketing system, documentation of proposed or executed changes within change management system, plan and execute technical projects, configuration and integration of security tools and API integration between systems
• Scripting and automation, CI/CD, gathering of data for research or audit purposes, troubleshooting tooling with external teams and tribes
• Work closely with other security engineers, security operations center staff, vulnerability management analysts and with internal teams like networking, development, and compliance.
• Must have Networking Domain Experience

Required technical & professional expertise :

• 2+ years of information security engineering experience
• 5+ years of general systems engineering experience
• Awareness of security standards
• Proficient with one or more programming language: Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, PHP, etc.
• Knowledge of one or more scripting language
• Exposure to ticketing and change management tools/processes (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.)
• Experience with compliance programs (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC, ISO, PCI, NIST etc.)
• Experience with one or more tools like Security Center, Nessus, Resilient, FireEye, Demisto, Verodin, TruSTAR, Carbon Black Protect
• Security/privacy specific training/certification

Desired Additional Qualifications and Skills ("Nice to Have")

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools (Travis/Jenkins)
