Cloud Security Engineer (Azure | CASB | CSPM)
Requirements:
We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft cloud security technologies. The focus areas include:
Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
Nice to have:
AI Security (Microsoft Foundry and related AI services)
Required Skills & Experience:
Core Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB).
Microsoft Defender for Cloud (CSPM).
Strong understanding of cloud-native risks (misconfiguration, identity, data exposure).
Experience with:
- Cloud app governance (Shadow IT, SaaS risk management).
Policy-based enforcement and automation.
Cloud Security
SaaS / IaaS / PaaS security models.
Responsibilities:
CASB / SaaS Security (Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps)
- Design, implement, and operate Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS).
- Manage Shadow IT discovery, classification, and governance processes.
- Implement and maintain:
- Application risk scoring and categorization frameworks.
- Automated governance policies (sanction/unsanction workflows).
- Usage-based prioritization of cloud applications.
- Integrate CASB insights into operational workflows (e.g., ServiceNow where applicable).
CSPM / Azure Security (Microsoft Defender for Cloud)
- Define and manage Azure security posture within a CSPM framework.
- Focus on:
- Detection and remediation of misconfigurations.
- Risk-based prioritization of security findings.
- Asset discovery and continuous posture tracking.
- Compliance mapping and reporting across cloud environments.
