Our client is seeking an experienced
Cloud Product Owner
to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of cloud-based products and platforms. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring cloud solutions deliver maximum business value while aligning with organizational objectives.

The Cloud Product Owner will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, managing the product backlog, prioritizing requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong agile delivery experience, cloud technology knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• 
  Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for cloud products and services.
• 
  Align cloud product initiatives with business strategy and organizational objectives.
• 
  Continuously evaluate market trends, customer needs, and emerging cloud technologies.

  Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous product improvement.

Product Ownership

• 
  Own and manage the product backlog.
• 
  Prioritize features, enhancements, defects, and technical improvements.
• 
  Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• 
  Ensure backlog items are refined and ready for development.
• 
  Balance business priorities with technical requirements.

Agile Delivery

• 
  Work closely with Scrum Masters, Solution Architects, Developers, Cloud Engineers, and QA teams.
• 
  Participate in Agile ceremonies, including:

    Sprint Planning

    Sprint Reviews
  • 
    Backlog Refinement
  •

  Monitor sprint progress and ensure successful delivery against business objectives.

Stakeholder Management

  Engage with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements.

  Communicate delivery progress, product updates, risks, and dependencies.

  Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the product lifecycle.

Cloud Product Management

• 
  Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.

  Support cloud migration, optimization, and transformation initiatives.
• 
  Ensure cloud products align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
• 
  Drive adoption of cloud capabilities across the organization.

Governance & Risk Management

• 
  Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• 
  Monitor product performance and business value delivery.
• 
  Identify and manage delivery risks and dependencies.
• 
  Support audit and compliance activities where required.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:

• 
  Computer Science
• 
  Information Technology
• 
  Information Systems
• 
  Business Information Systems
• 
  Engineering
• 
  Business Management
• 
  Or a related discipline

Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous.

Experience

• 
  Minimum
  5–8 years' experience
  as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst within enterprise technology environments.
• 
  Minimum
  3 years' experience
  delivering cloud-based products or platforms.
• 
  Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• 
  Experience managing enterprise product backlogs and roadmaps.
• 
  Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• 
  Experience engaging with senior business stakeholders.
• 
  Experience delivering cloud transformation initiatives.

Experience within Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, Mining, or Consulting environments will be advantageous.
