Job Description


The Cloud Operations Specialist is critical to the success of our overall cloud strategy, bringing core skills that will help us meet the demands of our growing cloud business.


As a key member of our operations team, you will own transactions across our entire cloud business, including IaaS and SaaS solutions that we bring to market. You will often take the lead in identifying and refining processes and procedures that will help the business grow and scale.

What You’ll Do


  • Build quotes, prepare contracts, process orders, and provision new IaaS and SaaS subscriptions with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

  • Facilitate the execution of high-value transactions for the cloud program you support.

  • Ensure cloud provider compliance is maintained by understanding evolving vendor requirements and identifying solutions to ensure customers meet those requirements.

  • Operate with a project management mindset by continuously identifying opportunities to build, implement, and improve processes, systems, and ways of doing business.

  • Participate in — and often lead — ad hoc projects and programs focused on driving operational excellence.

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across Sales, Delivery, Support, and Customer Success teams to help ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various cloud programs and develop a strong understanding of the key differences among them.

  • Educate and support account teams on the operational processes required to successfully transact subscription products and services.

  • Collaborate on resolving billing and invoicing issues related to the platform or subscription base you support.


Requirements


What You’ll Bring to the Table


  • 3+ years of experience working within a high-volume operational team, ideally in subscription management, order management, or contract management environments.

  • Strong transactional systems acumen, with the ability to work across multiple platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, AppDirect, and others.

  • A customer-first mentality focused on delivering the best possible experience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including sales teams, vendors, and internal operational teams.

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
