TL;DR
→ Hands-on cloud operations role across a portfolio of enterprise environments in Azure and AWS
→ Part of a close-knit ops team based in Stockholm
→ More distinct environments and technical challenges in a year than most ops roles offer in five.
As a Cloud Ops Engineer, you will be part of our Operations team, which takes long-term responsibility for keeping our customers’ cloud platforms stable, secure and well-structured. You’ll work hands-on to maintain and improve these environments and ensure that the service levels we commit to are met.
Your day-to-day work includes monitoring and troubleshooting live environments, resolving incidents and carrying out updates and changes in a safe and controlled way. You also look beyond the immediate issue by leading root cause analysis when needed and using automation and Infrastructure as Code to make operations more reliable and efficient over time.
You’ll collaborate closely with your teammates at Redeploy rather than sitting on-site with customers, and you may act as a point of escalation when more complex situations arise. The role also includes taking part in our rotating on-call schedule one week at a time, with additional compensation and one day of leave afterwards.
Breadth that builds you fast. A varied client portfolio means constant exposure to different architectures, stacks and operational challenges. You'll build an operational range that single-client roles rarely offer.
Work that's hard to come by elsewhere. Maintaining production cloud environments across both Azure and AWS, for clients who depend on them around the clock, gives you real-world experience that's hard to replicate elsewhere. The problems are genuine, and the feedback loop is immediate.
Your direction, your call. Go deeper into cloud infrastructure and resilience engineering, or grow towards a senior ops role. We'll support certifications when you want to pursue them, and development here follows your interests, not a fixed track.
People who make you better. The people here care about the work. Engineers who go deep because they want to, hold themselves to a high standard, and get restless when things stop moving. Client satisfaction sits at around 96%, against an industry average of 85%. That number reflects the people, ownership and the care behind the work.
The perks. 30 days vacation · hybrid work · private medical insurance · pension (ITP1) · wellness allowance 5,000 SEK · free choice of tools and tech · free breakfast, soda and snacks · yearly gatherings and AW's · a team with genuine interests outside work: gaming, food, running, padel, golf, football, cycling.
You're structured and service-minded, and you take ownership of your work without being told to. You troubleshoot calmly and systematically, communicate clearly and care about doing things properly. You're comfortable working independently, but you want to be part of a team and contribute to something shared. When you spot something that could be improved, you say so.
